Make a splash this May half term as we celebrate Love Your Aquarium Week from 23rd – 31st May! A fun-filled family event dedicated to the wonders of our oceans and how we can all help protect them.
Dive into a week of engaging activities included with your aquarium admission. Young explorers can follow our exciting Discovery Activity Trail, uncovering fascinating facts about marine life as they journey through the aquarium. Join our inspiring “Small Actions, Big Impact” talks to learn how simple everyday choices can make a real difference to our seas and the creatures that call them home.
Families are invited to take part in our interactive Pledge Board to Save Our Seas, where you can share your commitment to protecting the ocean and become part of a collective wave of positive change.
With plenty to see, do, and discover, Love Your Aquarium Week is the perfect way to entertain and inspire visitors of all ages this half term. Come along, learn something new, and help us celebrate and protect the incredible underwater world we all love.

Get ready for a fin-tastic day out! Blue Planet Aquarium is open daily from 10am (closed only on Christmas Day), with the last entry one hour before closing.
Our closing times change with the seasons, so be sure to check back before your visit to make the most of your underwater adventure!
Your underwater adventure starts the moment you set off! Blue Planet Aquarium is easy to find – just off Junction 10 of the M53 at Cheshire Oaks, right next to the Designer Outlet. Hop on a Stagecoach X1 from Chester or Service 1 from Liverpool and let the journey begin! Buses run regularly, and the nearest train station is Ellesmere Port, just two miles away, with easy bus links to get you even closer to the action.

Gear up for a smooth start to your day! Blue Planet Aquarium has its own onsite car park, just a short stroll from the entrance. Parking costs £2.95 per vehicle, no matter how long you stay, and when you buy something in the café, you’ll receive a free hot drink when you show your parking ticket.
