What are we?

We’re a marine and freshwater aquarium where visitors can get up close to one the UK’s largest collection of sharks, all homed in our huge 4 million litre tropical display.

Experience these sharks swimming over your head in our captivating 71-metre underwater tunnel. If you’re feeling brave we also offer shark dives for all ages and abilities – a once in a lifetime experience you’ll never forget!

We also host awesome under the sea birthday parties? Perfect for little ones looking for something a bit different (and parents looking for someone else to take care of the day for them!)

Whether you’re a family, a couple, a group of friends, a large group, a school or have additional needs – our facilities are great for everyone to enjoy!

Our exhibits and animals

The sharks are just one of our nine different themed zones. Visitors can discover over 100 living displays and thousands of marine creatures from around the world, with an extra area outside home to Dalmatian Pelicans and the Outdoor Play Area!

Get face to fin with family favourites like clownfish and regal tangs, as well as stingrays, pufferfish, turtles, seahorses and many, many more. An area not to be missed is Venom – filled with the most deadly creatures on the planet! From lionfish and viper snakes to tarantulas and jellyfish. Come and face your fears…

Take a break in our Nautilus Kitchen for a unique deep sea dining experience. Choose from a variety of hot and cold, freshly prepared foods and drinks, and perhaps treat yourselves at our Ice Cream Parlour too!

We host daily feeding and talk shows in our Aquatheatre, a spectacular window to an underwater world, so make sure to check out our daily timings to plan your day to catch one!

With lots to see and do for the whole family, come along for a trip out and discover it all for yourself! Plus, no visit is complete without a trip to The Gift Shop for ocean themed memorabilia.
