Aspro UK seeks HR Administrator

Part time – 27.5 hours per week working 9.30am to 3pm

£18,000 per annum (£12,375 pro rata)

About you

We are looking for someone who has already gained some experience within an HR department and has an understanding of employee processes.


The successful candidate will be highly organized and enjoy working in a fast paced, high volume environment. Deadlines are a large part of this role and therefore the successful candidate must enjoy working to deadlines, have excellent time management skills and be a great team player.


For the right applicant, the company can be very flexible on the hours to fit in with your lifestyle. Such positions may suit a parent whose children are at school or a person who is studying at College/University, although we welcome applications from any candidate with the relevant skills/experience.


About the Role

Based at our Flagship Blue Planet Aquarium, Cheshire Oaks and reporting to the Group HR Manager you will provide support in the day to day administrative tasks.


The company employs up to 400 staff in the UK, 200 of which are seasonal staff and as such your role will be heavily involved in the recruitment process from writing job adverts, to advertising to arranging interviews.


The role of HR Administrator is critical for ensuring that our employees are paid on time and accurately and as such you are responsible for ensuring our payroll manager receives the relevant information on leavers, sickness absences and new starters etc.


Other responsibilities include updating the HR Databases and supporting the Group HR Manager in providing a comprehensive and proactive HR service to all Aspro UK’s attractions.
