Blue Planet Aquarium takes each and every one of its visitors on a fascinating tour of marine life. Seeing the magic of the deep up close with breath taking displays among our exotic species, tropical fish and sharks, Blue Planet Aquarium takes real pride in educating the next generation in a fun and inspiring way.

 

We are now looking for an enthusiastic customer focused individual to work in our recently refurbished gift shop.

 

About the Role

We are looking for people who live and breathe customer service for the role of Retail. You will provide a professional and efficient service to our guests at all times. Whether selling a memento of our guests amazing experience, suggesting products that our guests may want to purchase or being on hand to assist our customers with any query they may have, you will have a passion for Blue Planet Aquarium and will assist in boosting revenue and smashing daily targets while demonstrating fantastic guest service at all times.

 

Hours are flexible covering weekdays, weekends and school holiday periods.

 

About You

You will be customer focused and highly motivated in approaching our guests. You will promote and maintain the highest standards of customer services at all times, giving a truly memorable experience to all of our customers.

 

Experience of cash handling is an advantage, but full training will be provided. With the ability to ‘think on your feet’ and take ownership of issues that may arise you’ll have demonstrable experience of working to a high standard in a pressurised environment ideally within a retail operation. You will be used to working to revenue and sales targets and you’ll have a high level of confidence when it comes to up selling. Organised and proactive with any issues that may arise, you are a reliable, customer focused team player who takes pride in giving a truly memorable experience to our Guests.
