We’ve teamed up with television channel Eden!
Catch Eden’s Great British Wildlife Season every weeknight from 6pm. Crammed with the greatest nature and wildlife shows on earth, including great programmes such as Animal Park and Bill Oddie’s How To Watch Wildlife, Eden brings you the most breathtaking animal and natural wonders, taking it’s viewers on an incredible journey lead by the worlds most experienced experts. Eden’s Great British Wildlife Season will explore the fascinating and varied wildlife living right on your doorstep. Eden is available on Sky 532 and Virgin Media 208.
To celebrate Eden’s Great British Wildlife Season, the channel will be crowning one lucky attraction Eden’s Wildlife Attraction of the Year. The campaign, which will run over the summer months of 2010, will see a selection of the UK’s leading wildlife attractions competing for the title and we want your vote! Charlie the Clownfish 2nd Birthday Weekend
Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 August 2010
Join Charlie the Clownfish and his cuddly friends, including Gullymouse from Gulliver's World, Wolfie from Warrington Wolves, Pottermus from Stoke City Football Club and Mr Bling from Sandcastle as they help Charlie celebrate his birthday.
See the special Charlie Birthday Party show with the Blue Planet Aquarium divers, plus there are plenty of opportunities for children to have the photograph taken with all the mascots.
On Saturday 7th August the party starts at 12 noon.
On Sunday 8 August join Dee 106 Breakfast Host Gavin Matthews as he broadcasts live from Blue Planet Aquarium. With party games, competitions and live music theres loads of reasons to join Charlie's party.

Elvis the Asian Short Clawed Otter
Blue Planet Aquarium has recently taken delivery of a brand new exhibit - Elvis the Otter. Elvis is seven years old and is an Asian Short Clawed Otter. Not only is Elvis new to Blue Planet Aquarium he's already predicted who will win the Premiership out of Manchester City and Manchester United. Click on the link below to see Elvis's prediction....

CBBC's Blue Peter comes to Blue Planet Aquarium
Blue Peter presenter Joel Defries visited the Blue Planet Aquarium, Cheshire Oaks this week to film a feature for the CBBC programme.
The 24-year-old presenter spent two days at the award-winning aquarium to record a special film for the hugely popular children’s show which is due to be broadcast on Wednesday 21 April.
Joel, who is an experienced diver, joined the show in 2008 and is its 34th presenter since it first aired back in 1958.
We don’t want to give away too much before the episode is featured but we can say that it involved sharks and a bit of unusual early spring cleaning!
Prank Patrol comes to Blue Planet Aquarium
Presenter Barney Harwood and his trusty ninjas descended on Blue Planet Aquarium along with his special effects team to transform the aquarium into an elaborate hoax.
For one of our visitors it was a visit he’s certain never to forget as his best friend got her teeth into planning a shark-infested adventure.
We don’t want to spoil the surprise for viewers but I think it’s safe to say the prank involves sharks and lots of water!
