Doctor Who Star Dives with Sharks
Doctor Who star Arthur Darvill fulfilled a lifetime ambition when he dived with three-metre-long sharks at Blue Planet Aquarium.

Arthur, who plays Rory Williams in the BBC show, took the plunge in the aquarium’s massive 3.8 million litre Caribbean Reef display surrounded by sharks, stingrays and eels.
The 29-year-old’s dive is set to be featured in the latest edition of BBC Three show ‘Doctor Who Confidential’ which is due to be broadcast on Saturday, September 10th at 8pm.
“Something that has both excited and terrified me is the idea of swimming with sharks,” said Arthur.
“I just think they are such fascinating and amazing creatures. I’ve been snorkelling a few times but to be able to swim with them in a controlled environment is just awesome.
“It was like something from James Bond, just stepping into this giant pool with massive sharks. I was fairly nervous but also really excited,” he added.
